Ctenophorus slateri - (Storr, 1967)
Pronunciation  ten-OFF-or-uss  
Etymology  Ctenophorus: 'comb-bearer', refering to the comb-like scales around the eyes.
slateri: "named after Mr. K. R. Slater, in appreciation of the many courtesies he extended to the Western Australian Museum during his sojourn at Alice Springs. Mr. Slater kindly donated the holotype to this Museum."
